Job Title: Accountant

​

Standard functions of an in-house accountant preparing all accounting, financial and affiliated accounting reports. Reporting to owner variously gather, organize, record, and maintain accounting and financial data. Review financial information and prepare preliminary financial and other reports/statements to summarize the current financial position.  Document activities in accordance with established accounting and accounting control procedures.  Implement and maintain automated accounting and accounting control procedures (e.g. Excel and QuickBooks). Maintain accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and benefits.  Identify bank account activities. Reconcile different bank and credit card accounts. Assist with year-end closing adjustments. Assist in preparation of schedules required in the audit of accounts by government regulatory bodies such as Internal Revenue Service filings. Liaise with external accountants and outside payroll services to provide the information required to prepare and file state and federal returns and payroll.

Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 1 year of experience.

(X) Full-Time Hours: 40           

Scheduled Days: Monday – Friday
